Katrina is a Planner in the Tampa office. She studied Interdisciplinary Social Sciences (Economics/Public Administration) and participated in the Honors College at the University of South Florida (USF) for her undergraduate degree. She also started working at the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) at this time. This experience helped her to become interested in urban planning. She continued on at CUTR as a Graduate Research Assistant and earned her Master in Urban and Regional Planning at USF. During her time at Renaissance, Katrina has worked on federal grant applications, mobility/freight work, and efficient transportation decision making (ETDM), among other projects. Her previous work at CUTR includes National Transit Database (NTD) collection/analysis, research on autonomous technology in transit, and evaluations of the economic benefits of complete street policies. Katrina is actively involved with the American Planning Association (APA) Sun Coast Section as their Professional Development Officer. She is also a Young Member and Paper Coordinator for the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Task Force on Transit Safety and Security.
