Brian is an analyst based in the Durham office, providing geospatial and statistical support for projects at renaissance. He received a Master of Arts in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts University, where he focused on the development data driven tool kits to inform policy decisions. His master’s thesis highlighted the effects of increased development on urban mobility and neighborhood change in Boston from 2005 to 2019. Additionally, he assisted in the development of 3D modeling tools to encourage the low impact development of solar energy in western Massachusetts. Brian is a believer in the power of data to tell compelling stories when combined with community engagement and a strong narrative.
